Tencent Buys Warframe. No sooner do we have reports that sony was angling for leyou than we get the news that tencent is now in exclusive talks with leyou to sell its digital assets. Tencent is reportedly in exclusive talks to purchase leyou technologies holdings, the company that owns both warframe developer digital extremes and gears of war dev splash damage.
Any change that players might claim is the result of the acquisition is no different than things that exists in the game long before tencent was involved. However, it is still unknown whether certain affinity is now helping the chinese tech giant with any games. I wouldnt be surprised if tencent sold warframe to another company in a year or two.
